When you look up at the night sky these days, you hardly notice any stars. Especially, if you live in a bustling city like Mumbai. But once, not not many years back, there used to be a time when people gazed at the night sky and wondered what lay beyond the stars. Thus started mankind's quest to find out the mysteries of the stars. Today, about two millennia afterwards we have slowly started understanding the working, composition, birth, death as well as the life cycle of the stars. Today we wonder about different mysteries such as the probability of space travel, cuteness of kittens, probability of another asteroid crashing down on earth thus destroying life as we know it, etc. But do we in our hectic lives stop and wonder why does a door act like it does? Or why water swirls in a clockwise direction in the northern hemisphere and in an anticlockwise direction in the southern hemisphere? Or for that matter why does hot water freeze faster than cold water? These are some of the simple questions of life that we often overlook. And whose answers that this blog aims to provide.
